Jake Paul vs Andrew Tate Negotiations In The Works

Jake Paul vs Andrew Tate has teased fans with the prospect of a potential super fight.

The topless pair squared off and locked eyes in a video posted to Paul’s Twitter account that was simply captioned, “negotiations”.

Andrew Tate, 35, first called out Paul, 25, in 2020 and offered him $3m for the clash. Since then, the controversial kickboxing star has continued to fire shots across the bow at the YouTuber, even stating he would “beat the living s***” out of him.

“I don’t dislike him, I understand him but I want to make something clear, I would still kick the living f*** out of Jake Paul,” he told The Fellas podcast.

“I’m not some washed-up UFC fighter and I’m not smaller than him, I would beat the living s*** out of him and if he wants to fight I’ll fight him any day of the f****ng week. He’s very smart with his ‘I’m just a YouTuber angle’.

“You’re a full-grown man with the best coaches in the world who has dedicated years to learning how to box. The guy’s not a jack*** and the fact he puts this spin on it is very smart.”

Paul has faced continued criticism during his short-lived boxing career for fighting either inexperienced or retired fighters – despite seeing bouts against current professionals Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr fall through.

“I offered him $3m at the time, I don’t think it’s about money for him I think it’s about credibility and fame,” Tate continued. “Fighting me is a massive risk for him, he knows that. I’d love to kick the f*** out of the guy because I love to fight, that’s the difference between me and everyone else he’s fought.

“I’m not some desperate guy at the end of his career who needs the money. I would dedicate my life (to training), treat him like a professional and I would destroy him like I’ve destroyed all of the professionals I have ever fought.”

Paul has also previously shown an interest in fighting Tate, who boasts a 76-9 record in kickboxing and was recently banned from multiple social media platforms for his “toxic” views on women.

Paul said: “This interviewer asked me recently would I fight Andrew Tate and that’s when I started to see this guy pop up all over the internet.

“I was like, ‘Oh that’s Andrew Tate‘, but what I’m saying is that Andrew if my brother doesn’t f*** you up, I will.”

Paul’s brother Logan also admitted he would love to chance to “f*** up” Tate, promising the Luton-raised Brit he would be “wheeled out on a stretcher” if they met in the ring.

Logan had stated that he did not want to give Tate a platform but changed his mind because Tate, who now resides in Romania, was “talking a lot of s***”.

Jake also said he does not share Tate’s opinions but insisted he is a defender of free speech so gave his potential opponent a platform to speak out after he was canceled.

Paul said of the decision: “I don’t roll with Andrew Tate. May KO his ass out in the ring one day soon.

“But I roll with freedom of speech.”

A contest with either of the Paul brothers would not only prove a huge financial incentive for Tate, but it would also thrust him back into the mainstream spotlight after being locked out in the cold by social media moguls for his continued jibes against women.

Andrew Tate on Fighting Mayweather & Jake Paul

Shortly before he was purged from several apps Tate claimed he was the ‘most Googled man on the planet’, and would often post videos online in his fleet of supercars or surrounded by beautiful women.

As many boxing fans will know, the fight game can be a very fickle beast, and the teaser far from guarantees the bout will ever be made.

But with Paul’s recent clash against Anderson Silva only garnering a reported ‘200,000 to 300,000’ pay-per-view buys, and Cobra Tate’s polarising character making him one of the most recognized names on the planet, this fight could be too much of a potential goldmine for either man to turn down.
