If you’re a sport fanatic or among the participants actively looking for the next challenge, watch this space… (Did we mention it’s free?) Join the club – it’s the place to be.

Where are the fitness events?

The fitness events and expos are held across the UK. Whether you’re in London or Liverpool, Birmingham or Glasgow, there are a huge range of events for everyone listed on our website. Perhaps you’re new to London city but love all things fitness; maybe you’re bored at home and fancy watching a last-minute Turf Game instead of a Netflix trap fest.

An added benefit is that you also won’t have to travel miles if you’d rather stay local. Depending on where you live, some of the cool fitness and sporting events are just a short walk away. Or you can tune in online and grab the popcorn. The option is always there.

What type of fitness events are on show?

A large collection of fitness events in London include the running events, from long-distance marathons to the 5K Hyde Park run. Cycling sportives are also in luck; follow the tours and cheer the contestants as they pedal at the speed of light.

One of the oldest traditions still running the show (pardon the pun) are the Bodybuilding events, which began in the early 19th century. Bodybuilders from near and far come together to compete in the utmost apex challenge: the judges’ recognition. Rather than exercising for top points, this is based on aesthetics only, from body symmetry to muscle size and posing. As you can see, there’s something for everyone.

Who can go to the fitness events?

The sporty stars who want to train and compete in the challenges will be able to join and get involved in the action.

Alternatively, maybe you want to show support for your loved ones in the Tough Mudder event. Watch them running in the thick and gloopy mud, striving to push their limits and laughing in the face of adversity, all in the hope to raise money for charity.

Anyone can go to see the Arnold Sports Festival or discover the crowning of Britain’s Strongest Women; these championships are not one to miss. Bring your friends, family, children and pets – witness the gladiators fight head to head for an evening you’ll never forget.

Why should I go to a fitness event?

The events and expos are not simply about exercise. These challenges are a test of agility, strength and the power of the mind. Some of the fitness events, like CrossFit and the Strongman events to name a few, are mind-blowing. It’s a mental and physical test unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

After one hour, you’ll witness what it takes for these champs to spend a lifetime wearing and tearing muscles for the ultimate prize. The organisers know how to put on a show, that’s for sure.
