The king and queen of the fitness scene have officially tied the knot. Christian Guzman and Heidi Somers pledged their lives to each other during a lavish ceremony fit for the royalty they are.
Given the pair’s penchant for going big, it was never going to be an understated affair, was it? Every single detail of the dreamy day, which took place on the sun-kissed coastline of Grand Cayman, was planned to stunning detail.
It had everything a bride could want and more: live bands, pyrotechnics, and even a personalised photo wall with their names on it.
The guest list wasn’t short of familiar faces, either. Fellow big-name influencers including Rob Lipsett and Maxx Chewning joined them for their big day, with the latter delivering a flawless speech as Guzman and Somers stood hand in hand at the altar.
Guzman and Somers became the gym world’s most revered power couple in 2017, making their relationship Facebook official by posting simultaneous videos.
In what was a touching twist, the duo were wed on the same beach where Guzman first dropped the L bomb some seven years ago.
Reciting his vows on the big day, Guzman said: “Exactly seven years ago, we were on this very beach sitting on a chair when I first told you that I loved you.
“I remember you feeling how fast my heart was pounding and asking, ‘Are you okay?’
“My heart was beating out of my chest, but honestly, it’s beating just as fast right now.”
