Sam Sulek confirmed last summer that he’d be making his professional bodybuilding debut at the 2026 Arnold Classic, and it’s clear that he’s been locked in since then.
With a little over two weeks until the prestigious event, Sam gave a sneak peek of his current condition in a post on Instagram – and he’s looking jacked.
There’s still more work to be done
Despite boasting a barn door back most of us could only dream about, Sam revealed during a candid chat on his YouTube channel that he still has areas he wants to improve on.
“I want to get a little grainier, a little more peeled,” he said. “Thin out the fat layer on my sides and my lower back and my glutes, to get all of those little extra lines creeping out.”
Who is Arnold Classic debutant Sam Sulek?
Sam Sulek is an American fitness influencer and bodybuilder whose unfiltered gym videos and daily lifestyle have gained him millions of followers across social media.
And it’s his raw, unpolished, no-BS approach that fans have warmed to. He often posts completely unedited videos of his workouts and meals alongside honest car chats (like his physique update above).
He talks openly about his experiences in competitive bodybuilding — a world he entered rapidly.
Sam qualified for the Arnold Classic Amateur after debuting at the NPC Legends Classic in Las Vegas on February 15, 2025.
And then, just 12 days later – in only his second-ever competition – he secured his IFBB Pro Card by winning the Classic Physique Division in Columbus, Ohio.
The 2026 Arnold Classic
The 2026 Arnold Classic will take place on Friday, March 6th, and Saturday, March 7th, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, where Sulek will battle it out in the classic physique category alongside the likes of Mike Sommerfeld and Wesley Visser.
