17-Year-Old ‘Fake Natty’ Logan Dishman Put on Life Support After Using Dirty Steroid Needle

Seventeen-year-old bodybuilder Logan Dishman had to be placed on life support after using a dirty needle to inject steroids.

The rising star contracted a staph infection and was rushed to the emergency room in an ordeal that nearly cost him his life.

Dishman, who boasts online about being the strongest 17-year-old ever, says he went into sepsis and his heart stopped while receiving treatment.

He’s now understood to be back at home and recovering, though it’s unclear whether there will be any long-lasting impact from the episode.

This comes amid a wider ‘fake natty’ scandal. Dishman had previously claimed to fans and the entire fitness community that he was a lifetime natural.

Standing at 5’10” and 240 lb, he gained huge traction by posting videos of mind-boggling lifts, including a recent 815 lb bench press with former powerlifter and current IFBB Pro Larry Wheels.

However, in recent weeks, a mountain of evidence began to stack up suggesting the contrary. DMs, blood work, and pictures of various bottles of gear made their way to the surface.

Videos then started circulating of Dishman’s admission to the hospital, featuring leaked messages between the internet sensation and his friends.

That prompted Dishman to come clean, admitting publicly for the first time that he’d been using steroids.

Dishman posted a message to his 62,000 Instagram followers explaining the situation.

“Moral of the story is don’t do anything without proper guidance, something I didn’t have the whole time and it almost cost me my own life,” he wrote.

“After all the exposure I’m now getting proper guidance and am going to pursue bettering my health to be a better bodybuilder in the future and, most importantly, to keep myself alive.

“I didn’t know I had bad blood work or what I was doing 100% because, like I said, no guidance.”

The post included a breakdown of everything Logan Dishman had used as a fake natty, dating back to March 2024.

The list featured substances like RAD140, MK677, and MENT, with some taken over courses lasting as long as 20 weeks.

He cited fears over getting kicked out of his parents’ house, a desire to boost engagement and draw in sponsors, hopes of becoming the youngest IFBB Pro, and body dysmorphia as reasons for his natural facade.

“I’m very sorry for this whole thing,” he added.

“I appreciate everyone who’s been there for me during this part of my life and I love the support you guys give — it’s shaping my life in a beautiful way and I’d hate to lose it over something as dumb as gear.

“This whole post is aimed at being as transparent as possible.”

Logan Dishman: The Fallout

The court of public opinion is very much divided on Logan Dishman’s long-awaited admission.

While plenty of fans sent well wishes in the comments and praised his honesty, others have gone in — hard.

IFBB Pro, elite powerlifter, and YouTube commentator Greg Doucette posted one of his classic online takedowns.

He says Logan Dishman injected 600 mg of trenbolone (aka Tren) the day before working out with Larry Wheels.

“I, at my most abusive levels of steroids, could not handle 600mg,” he said. “And on top of that, he’s using MENT. What is wrong with this kid? And what is wrong with YoungLA sponsoring this liar who’s perhaps going to die?

“I actually have his blood work… it’s horrendous. Shocking. Way worse than I ever had and I used steroids for over ten years. Think of how bad that really is.”

Dishman replied to the video by writing: “Maybe I lied for a while, but praying on my downfall when I had no guidance and thought I was doing things good, then ended up hospitalized, instead of trying to help isn’t right of you Greg.”

To which Doucette responded by pointing the teen to a timestamp in his video.

“I suggest you watch it,” he said.

“The entire video I blame who? Parents. Also social media. If you really look at my video what overall message do you get? Is it a warning to parents and teens to be careful or a video praying on your downfall?”

Granted, Logan Dishman will have made thousands of dollars from his steroid-fueled lifts and resulting sponsorships, but he’s certainly not the first to lie about using gear.

He’s also just been dealt the most sobering wake-up call of his life. Hopefully, it’s the shock that jumpstarts a happier, healthier career in bodybuilding for the young creator.
