Chris Guiliano, a 6’5ft USA swim team member, is gaining attention after his Olympic debut. His crucial second-leg performance in the 4x100m relay propelled the team to finish at 3:09.28 — 1.07 seconds ahead of second place– and subsequently secure gold medals. He also won silver in the 4x200m relay and qualified for individual events.

Career Highlights
The swimmer from Pennsylvania began swimming when he was just eight years old. Thirteen years later, he has accomplished many impressive things. Earlier this year, he was named ACC Swimmer of the Year and became a six-time All-American. After joining the U.S. roster team in 2023, he won silver and bronze at the World Aquatic Championships and U.S. Open.
Guiliano has broken multiple records, including personal bests and school records in the 50, 100, and 200 free events. He’s the School relay record holder in all five relays and serves as team MVP and captain.

NCAA Championships
As a junior, Guiliano excelled at the NCAA Championships, earning First Team All-America status, and swept the sprint free events at the ACC Championships.
Personal Life
Chris Gulliano is currently a senior at University of Notre Dame majoring in economics with a minor in computing and digital technologies. There, he is being coached by Chris Lindauer, assistant coach for the U.S. Olympic team.
He’s been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and participates in community service through the Key Club.
