I don’t know about you, but I can’t seem to remember a time recently when Logan Paul, KSI, and their Prime drinks weren’t all over the media! The latest drama is about the Prime Energy FDA backlash that the guys have been facing.
Somehow managed not to hear about this? Well let me fill you in.
See, there’s been a lot of backlash from various groups who are concerned about the amount of caffeine that’s in Prime Energy. With each can of Prime containing the same amount of caffeine as 6 cans of coke, you do need to keep an eye on how much of the stuff you’re drinking, but the same can be said for quite a few other energy drinks out there.
The real issue seems to be that Prime has been a massive hit with kids. And these levels of caffeine can be pretty dangerous to young people, potentially causing health issues like heart problems, anxiety, and digestive issues.
Logan Paul is fighting back over these concerns though. In a recent YouTube video on the TMZSports channel he explains that they’ve always made it clear that, while Prime hydration is for all ages to enjoy, Prime Energy is for over 18s only.
Backing up his claims with data showing that under 18s actually make up a tiny percentage of their social media following, he makes a pretty convincing argument that they’ve never marketed Prime Energy to kids.
So watch this space to see how the rest of this debate plays out!
