G-Wagon Pull and Ninja Warrior-Style Obstacle Course Headline Christian Guzman’s Inaugural Alphalete Games
YouTube legend and fitness OG Christian Guzman has announced the first-ever annual Alphalete Games.
The inaugural competition is scheduled to take place at Alphaland — Guzman’s 18.5-acre Missouri City fitness oasis — in late February, packed with crazy challenges and plenty of giveaways.
“Alphalete has never done this before,” he shared with fans on social media.
“We’re introducing the first-ever Alphalete Games, hosted here at Alphaland. Free entry, competitive challenges, and prizes.
“Bring your family, bring your friends, RSVP now.”
Guzman is already well-versed in hosting major events. The Texas-based entrepreneur has grown Summer Shredding into a key fixture on the bodybuilding calendar, offering hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money.
The impending Alphalete Games, set to debut on Saturday, February 28, take a slightly different approach, focusing on the fast-growing functional side of fitness.
Despite being free to attend, Guzman certainly hasn’t scrimped on the experience.
Open trials range from fun to elaborate, including a Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course and a mechanical bull challenge.
Each one, he says, is structured to be “approachable yet demanding”, encouraging participants to “push past perceived limits and walk away stronger than they arrived.”
The event is built around Alphalete Athletics’ core philosophy, “Become More”, which has served as the brand’s north star since its major refresh early last year.
To supplement the open participation, guests will also have the chance to watch Alphalete athletes take on signature challenges, including maximum dead hangs and a “headline” G-Wagon pull.
Throughout the Alphalete Games, attendees will be able to vie for free Alphalete merchandise and unlock exclusive discounts at various challenge stations.
Guzman has promised more details in the coming days as he ramps up preparations for the new annual tradition.
